WINEMAKING PROCESS

The wine is made on the skins, with an extended maceration period at controlled temperatures. Following the primary fermentation stage, malolactic fermentation commences.

TASTING NOTE

It is a rich red colour, with shades of wild berries. The bouquet calls to mind blackcurrants and blueberries, with hints of marasca cherries and violets that are followed on the finish by mushroom notes. It is dry, graceful and rounded on the palate, with a delightful touch of bitterness.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

It is excellent with red meat, game and cheese that is mature but not too strong.
